Ananas Bag Red
Our first vegan and sustainable bag made out of pineapple leaves.
Bag is made out of Piñatex - natural, innovative and patented new material, made from pineapple leaf fibres gathered by partner farming cooperatives in the Philippines. Piñatex fibres are the by-product of the pineapple harvest. No extra land, water, fertiliser or pesticides are required to produce the base material.
This material is ultra light and waterproof and same time extremely durable, elastic and breathable. It’s „wrinkled” characteristic structure makes it very unique and resistant to signs of aging. In natural, black and red bag single fibres are visible when looking from very close.
According to the producer it’s possible to clean the material with bit of water and soft detergent.
Our ananas bag despite it’s rather smaller size is very capacious, it has one inner pocket and it’s extremely light. Closed with certified anti-nickel metal zipper.
Belt of a bag is made out of natural jute cord and thanks to it, it matches perfectly with Piñatex character. Belt is regulated, we can make it shorter or longer simply by switching from higher of lower knot with round metal circle that it’s opening.
Belt can be also detached completely from the bag, metal circles too, and than bag can be used as a sachet for cosmetics and so on.
Size of a bag: around 25x18x5 cm.
